Children’s teeth begin to form before birth. It is essential for mothers to have proper nutrition during pregnancy for the development of teeth. Mother’s should consume plenty of calcium, phosphorus, vitamin C, and vitamin D. At birth, the baby already has 20 primary teeth developed in the jaw. To grow and maintain healthy teeth, oral care should be started soon after the baby’s birth.
